'...you will not pass this way again ...'

We learn from psychology that each and every individual is a unique and special being. He is a product of heredity and the environment. This holds true even in the case of identical twins who share the same egg at conception. But we find that their lives gradually take different courses. They get influenced differently by the environment.

In twins for example, they may get attached to different people in the family. In all these cases, the nature of the relatives , the intensity and type of the emotions shared,  leave an imprint on the lives of  the young individual twins .Slowly , the nature of the relationship , type and degree of warmth  displayed in the  relationship get  reflected in the twins' lives  regardless of  the common elements shared at birth .A unique tapestry tend to evolve and gets displayed in the twins' personalities .With these, differences also tend to emerge..

Nonetheless the identical twins share a lot in common e.g. sex,
looks and in many cases even temperaments. 
However, this is how far the similarities go. They have different finger prints and even foot prints. Even their gait tends to be different. Same with their voices .They stand out as unique individuals and can be easily identified by family members, friends, teachers and the community.

An observation of the nature around us indicates that God doesn't create duplicates. He creates only master pieces. Each and every individual stands and remains unique; special .Therefore, it is very important that every man and woman acknowledges this uniqueness and accepts the reality about human limitations;  thence the importance and need  for  human co-operation.

 History speaks volumes about Man's achievements and failures; his greatness and flaws. Due to this, it is vital to realize that whatever you can do, someone else can do it even better than you. You therefore need to compliment others in order to create a strong team and a better society.

But it is crucial that you accept yourself, just the way you are, with all your faults and strengths. Without this acceptance, it is difficult to improve on the self because there are always denials and wishful thinking.  You are likely to find it difficult to accept the flaws that appear as you look into the mirror or any that is pointed out by others.

With acceptance you can confront the REAL you and strive to improve yourself to be a better you .With this awakening, you can look and find ways and means of nurturing and nourishing the REAL You - the Self.

It is a fact that it is the wearer who knows where the shoe pinches most. ’Others can just guess but they may not really know what it feels like to be you .They can’t really know the desires of your heart. They can’t really know your pains, feel the fears that gnaw at your heart and give you sleepless nights.   They can’t know what sets your heart aflame or racing and what really makes you feel like walking in the air. They can't really know makes you feel like commanding the sun to stop just for awhile for you to savor the moment, to cherish and to hold. They can only guess, but they may never fully understand. Never!

 Yes, occasionally  you  may find a soul mate on your life path, a dear friend  ,a workmate or  a family  member  or  anyone, who may come close and  read you like an open book but  they  may not always decipher all the messages .They may come very  close but  that is the farthest they can come . Just close!! .

Of course, nothing will stop the world from trying to peep into your world and your psyche and speculate  about it . But that is the furthest they may be able to go, in spite of all the modern technology and scientific inventions. This is because a human being has the body, mind and spirit .Much has been understood about the body and the mind but not the spirit. This also explains why as a human being you continue to amaze and surprise others.

You are much more than that meets the naked eye. You are a miracle and a paradox .Your life holds the secrets of the past and the future. Your life is a journey and a mission .Above all, you have a responsibility to yourself and others. This is all the more reason why you have to strive to fulfill your dreams..Be you. Anoriginal.

Know yourself. Be at peace with yourself. Offer the best of yourself in all you do and at all times. Accept that you can't please everyone regardless of all the good you can ever do .You are human, so bound to error and may be misunderstood. Accept to be guided and counseled..Learn.  Accept yourself. Be proud of you .Be kind and gentle with yourself. Above all, strive to be Happy.

There is no other you and there will never be another you.
You are God's own masterpiece.

• Play your part.

• You have a right to be here.
