The biggest miracle of man’s existence is that no one is similar to another in all sense. Each differs from others in their individual way. You may be different from the other person in your likes and dislikes, in your character, in your attitude, in your strengths and weaknesses and in your unique personality. It is this unique personality which differentiates you from others.
Actually this difference occurs due to the molding up of you. This molding up is a process prompted by the environment and the people around you. They feel that it is for your betterment.
It is observed that people have a tendency to fit into this mould. It would actually be better if one do not become a conformist but rather try to escape from casting yourself into this mould. The reason for telling this is that the only person, who is completely aware of you, is YOU only. You only know what is inside your mind, which dictates your attitude, character and your view point. Only you would know about your wishes, your dislikes, and your targets.
What others see for us and what we see for us is as different as chalk and cheese. Only you know what you want to accomplish in your life. You know your skills and abilities well. You are the apt person to choose the right path for you in accordance with your skills and abilities. Other’s viewpoint may not suit you most of the time.
Move in your own manner. Whenever you refuse unwanted advice, choosing to move in your own way, and burn your own track, there's a chance that the person giving the advice may get upset or furious. But just think for a second of the alternative. If you try to please everyone, the result is that you end up pleasing no one. A sure-fire formula for ending as a disaster is to give in to everyone’s wishes. Stand up for what you believe in.
Going further, our aspirations and dreams differ. These give meaning to your life. By keenly chasing your dreams, your lives achieve completeness which words cannot express. But if you go for fulfilling the dreams that others set for you, you make others happy. But you will clearly realize that you end up as a failure.
Instead of making others rule you, and set targets for you, start on your own. Set targets that suit your skills and abilities well. Never compromise. While it is not a bad thing to listen sometimes to others’ advice, remain faithful to you and your dreams always.
